Our Story

Kapture Pest Control began with a rat-infested apartment. The start of my career was meant to be exciting. I moved to New York City, got my first apartment, but my excitement quickly disappeared when I began waking up to rats scratching every single night.

I didn’t know what to do since the rats were in the walls or ceiling. My frustration got bigger every day as I couldn’t find a solution. The building exterminator couldn’t figure it out either. The problem didn’t stop until I moved out a few months later. Luckily, my next apartment was rat free.

Fast forward a year, and I moved to my first solo apartment. It didn’t take long for me to start having flash-backs to my original frustration.

The week after moving in, a mouse came streaking through the living room and threatened to ruin another apartment for me. This time, I resolved myself that i wouldn’t let them win. After a few weeks of research and some trial and error I was able to completely resolve the issue on my own. Once resolved I lived there for 5 years without a single further incident.

With this successful experience I quickly grew a deep appreciation for the pest control industry and how much it can improve people’s lives.

I continued learning about the industry. Eventually I got directly involved and the more I learned about it the more i came to appreciate it.

I couldn’t help but notice that in my own backyard all these successful, long-term family-owned companies got rolled up by large national and international companies. And with that, the old-fashioned customer service that used to dominate the industry seemed to disappear.

It didn’t take me long to make up my mind and I decided to start my own company to bring back what I felt people valued. A company offering effective, fast and family-friendly services.

Fast forward a few years and things have come together (almost) exactly as planned. We now have hundreds of positive reviews and a fast growing customer base.

I look forward to many more years in this industry that has been so good for me.

I had an urgent need with a mouse trapped in a bathroom :-) my neighbor referred me to Kapture and Jordan was terrific. As was Kasha in the office who was very patient and gave me all the details and prices beforehand. I am so grateful that she was able to schedule him for today, and he got the mouse! And he did a whole inspection and will be back in two weeks. The best!

I must say Anmul my rep put me at ease when he gave me his presentation of the company and what they are about. He made it seamless to transition from my old pest control company to Kapture. Today was my first service visit with Kapture. When Chris my service technician arrived at my store he was well put together and told me his action plan for his initial assessment. We talk about my expectations and he did not disappoint. He really knows what he is doing and put me at ease that going with Kapture was the right decision. After his initial assessment he went over everything he did and answered all my questions. I look forward to seeing him for our next visit in a month. Go with Kapture you will not be disappointed.

Chris has become my regular guy and I highly recommend! He started at my buisness location and was very through and took the time to answer lots of wuestions as I had just moved and needed help migrating a current residential issue. Kapture Pest Control is head and shoulders above the rest. After hiring two other companies in the past, I assumed their level of service was standard. Kapture proved otherwise. My salesman, Shawn, was knowledgeable and transparent. My technician, Chris, conducted a thorough evaluation and delivered a noticeably more comprehensive service. Nathan at Kapture is a real pro. He came, inspected, set traps and bait, and sealed a hole where mice were entering. A week later 7 traps were tripped and we had 6 dead mice. No bait was even disturbed, indicating we got them before they even ate. Since then no activity that I can discern. praying this is the end of a years long issue.

The technician, Temis Scott, came on time and was very thorough. He texted me earlier so I knew what time to expect him. I had to go out just as he came, but my husband showed him the areas that need to be checked, as it was his first time here . He rebaited the traps (which were empty) in the basement & garage and then went outside to complete his work around the perimeter of the house. We were very happy with Temis' work and attitude.

After 1-2 other companies claiming they would ride our yards if rats but with zero success, Shawn came along from Kapture and really cared about our situation, he promised results and actually delivered!! I don’t think anyone else would have gotten all parties involved to agree on one company! His personality for sales is impeccable! Kapture is lucky to have such a great guy on their team.
